As our holiday lights spread their hopeful colors across a wide field of fresh snow, I contemplate this last wintery evening of 2024 with hope. Bidding a fond farewell to the past seems strange, but I will miss its warmth. As many of you may also recognize, as we age, time tends to speed up with each passing year. And there is some science to this phenomenon. I refer to this marvel as age relativity, and it offers some unique challenges. My hopes for meeting all my goals become more complex as time contracts upon me faster. So, my best message is to use your time wisely—especially while you are young. Don’t let time or age relativity overtake or get the best of you. Let’s not delay as we look to 2025 with peace, hope, and renewed determination to improve.
