My entire life, I have been a dreamer. My beautiful mother and even my wife would often say to me, “What is on your mind right now?” And as I pondered the distances between the multi-universes and my tiny mind, I was always too embarrassed to respond. It was far easier to stay in my own created “Zone.” My bookshelf is not like most. I have many science books, particularly physics books. And I could not survive without the blessings of science fiction. It is my escape from a current reality that is often too painful and cruel. Ray Bradbury was and remains my hero, for he taught me how to dream and even to write. And to adore sentence fragments. And so, I have come to appreciate how important dreams are, and while they may not all come true, nor should they, I have learned to adapt and to search, even discover, blessed particles of dreams within dreams. After every failed dream or idea, I always find another (Plan B) that still gives me hope. With all the troubles that surround us, one of my greatest personal dreams is just to be “Small!” May you all have a large and blessed holiday season, filled with love, hope, and DREAMS!
