This month, I experienced several deep autumn feelings, leading me to write short poems on various subjects. One of the things that has occupied my mind is the concept of “What’s in a Name?” As I researched the meanings and origin of my first and last name, it occurred to me that the shadows of that name have influenced some of the paths of my life course. Do you know what your name means or represents? You may be surprised that the origins of your name might have played a role in the long, twisting roots of your life, hope, and life course. It's an exciting activity, not only for you but for your family and friends as well. And beyond my small smattering of words, I am presented with this colorful fall season that I fail to begin to describe. With a loss of words, it takes my breath away.
