While this month is typically busy and hot, we have found some cool solace. My wife and I have the privilege of volunteering at our local Kamas Family Search Center. It is such a joy to help people discover and connect with their ancestry. As we help them find relatives and add pictures and memories to their trees, it brings so much joy to their hearts, and we all come away united as brothers and sisters. In this complex world, we are often judged by our positions on some arbitrary vertical axis, while in the bigger picture, we all exist side by side. Below is a very tiny verse called a Six Word Short Story. This type of story requires some serious contemplative thought. It was made famous by Ernest Hemingway, whose own six-word story is “For Sale: Baby Shoes. Never Worn.” It is an impactful short story that could be unpacked into many pages.
