We began this month by taking a much-needed trip to Bryce Canyon National Park with dear friends and family. While hiking that expanse of hoodoos and traipsing through some wondrous and deep slot canyons, I was overwhelmed by the beauty and metaphors found in such a creation. If any of you like to write—you know what this type of event can lead to—more words… And words spoken or heard really do matter as they reflect us and our hearts. This summer is a great time to reconnect with family, friends, and nature while enjoying God’s calming creations—not the least of which is us! Please enjoy. Your friend—Doug
