This month is a bit troubling or confusing. We are supposed to be moving into spring, but that is not happening. While this long winter brings desperate water, it also brings some desperation and darkness. This is a time to find spring and the light within each of us. In my darkest times, I look for all of God’s blessings, especially in friends and family. Surrounded by good people and a writing instrument, I gain the hope and courage to rise up and make the best out of the ashes of these long nights. What brings you light in these long winter months?
