forgotten roots / unearthed / sustain a soaring tree / supporting children / as infinite leaves / singing on branches / fastened to the sky / separating to grow / blossoming families / one above the other / tributaries of life / weathered by time / besieged by droughts / frightened by doubt / whispering in winds of change / warmed by rays of hope / renewed in gentle rains / beside healing blue waters / loving / through seasons of time / waiting to drop / from chills of power / then / discovering reality / beyond this life / where spirits soar / on songs of peace / we become one / in a purpose far beyond / our spirit’s flow linked / with common roots / of divine parents / we joyfully fall / from worn branches / cancered by entropy / to spread over earth / our new heaven / side by side / as brothers and sisters / one everlasting family / never to decay / eternal in soft greenery / with true purpose / so easily forgotten / that could also be lived / in a verdant grove / and in a time / we call now
