Salt and Light
“a solitary summit of solitude
standing tall—yonder clouds
freed from clamoring crowds…”

“a solitary summit of solitude
standing tall—yonder clouds
freed from clamoring crowds…”
“with celestial force
she forged my heart of stone…”
“white gossamer wings
flowing on silken spirits
grace my stride with lights…”
“time screams merciless
vindictive boulders
crushing worn fingers…”
“my bones are etched in peens of ache
and my lungs are hardening to stone…”
“in life’s deep abyss
my river smooths jagged stones”
“…when gravity paints its light
hope is not defined by time”
