“Down the unlit alleyway
I have recklessly meandered for years
locked within a maze of my own making…”

All people are created equal

They are endowed by their Creator…”

“…as AI assimilates everything
I fear—we no longer own us”

“How much of our heart
dare we sacrifice
to save one green home…”

“Forever
     Flowing
          Free”

“I stand at the precipice of forever
where I can freely choose my destiny—”

“blue waters of truth

flow to an endless ocean”

“the art of building walls—is often an art of lies

hedges built to obscure plain and simple truths—”

“…the powers of our blossoming sun
will always defeat powers of dark rage”

I thought this poem appropriate considering the turmoil and suffering in Ukraine beginning last evening.
