Our Sphere of Sanctuary
When winter’s breath kisses a bubble
with its freezing lips of space and time
unique prismatic shapes cloak the orb
in an innocent shell of purity and peace
a minuscule universe of swelling stars
spreads into gentle feathering crystals
molding its matrix of beauty into one
its trembling ether now rests motionless
protecting a myriad of frigid moments
embracing a nest of sacred quiescence
splattered with sparks of silent sunlight
We can reflect such hidden graces in life
as a chrysalis—dreaming of tomorrows
where our shattering windows of age
will melt into drops of a far greener hope
Life is never like inert—untarnished gold
it is more fragile, diverse, and magnificent
let’s cherish and nourish every orb of life
that blesses their joyous moments of time
in our safety and protective refuge of God
