Outcast
tangled in the hands of time
worn by indefatigable tides
my reckoning was mingled in lies
I found my spirit lost and alone
an outlaw in rambling outlands
dimensions I once recognized
realities that once felt secure
began fading into fuzzy shadows
of truths—once easy to discern
hope was liquefied in endless seas
no country offered me sanctuary
to survive—I needed to converge
my spirit with a divine spirit
and sail upon winds of sanctitude
I discovered peace in this meeker power
I was once lost—but I found the light
