My Poetry and Prose Blogology
Mothers’ Day
“who taught us how to love
in a love-forgotten world
who spread their beauty
upon nature’s own beauty”
Nature’s Song
“did you hear the earth sigh
beneath her ginger yarns of dawn
have you crystal courage to hear
the harmonies of her sacred song”
Three Essential Things
“never relent in the protections of—
our peaceful tracts of open space
our waters that deliver and keep life
and our dark skies of hope beyond”

Snow Canyon
“Snow Canyon remains one of those weird geographic anomalies. A multicolor marmalade adventure molded in nature's clever hands of shape, shadow, and time.”

Peace Trails
“baptized in the caressing dews of willows—
we emerge beneath an azure-blue atmosphere
redeemed once again—in a fresh ray of hope”

Finding Poetry in My Depression
“and now—after many long—scribbled out years
stumbling over words with my heavenly creator
I have finally learned to humbly deal with it—
even through all its unexpected ebbs and flows”
