it created the perfect breeding ground for algae
plus—firing over 100,000 scientists never helps…

so—to feed his ego and entertain his filthy glut—
he desecrated a shrine in our sacred national parks
parading personal political rallies of pathetic power
monuments bowing to his bloody ring of gladiators
heaps of green greed and pride spent on his vanity
created an intense toxic memorial of green disease
the figurative swamp—became his factual swamp
a tepid—putrid potage of self-graft and corruption
