My Poetry and Prose Blogology
Mothers’ Day
“who taught us how to love
in a love-forgotten world
who spread their beauty
upon nature’s own beauty”
Death of a Friend
“in exquisite displays of selfless light
they dance as one—but never really see
their shared splendor of calming grace”
Lest We Forget
“in the end—we realize we never noticed the beauty
—because we were too busy trying to create it “
Sailing Upon Light
“—I see myself as I look into her deep blue eyes
our hearts melt into clear embraces of eternity
as love rises in white clouds of a brighter hope”
Learning to Listen
“if you become lodged in cracks of despair
learn to listen to your quiet spirit’s guide
and it will bind you to a warmer paradise”
We Are Different
“yes—we are different
but we stand faithful as one—
magnificent and beautiful”
Snow Canyon
“Snow Canyon remains one of those weird geographic anomalies. A multicolor marmalade adventure molded in nature's clever hands of shape, shadow, and time.”
