Adventures

This is where I begin—

another family adventure

a chapter of rugged destinies

mapped on paths I carve in time

for as my river shrinks in droughts

I know I will flow into a deep ocean

where my grand finale—while not yet

will pour magnificent—beyond dreams

blending my light into its stars of infinity

hoping to be true to the light that made me

yet in time—my end will become a beginning

and every miracle—born with friends and faith

will transform to eternal families and knowledge

and these truths will never be pried from my heart
